Natural Timber & Product Updates:

Every Barrel Baths sauna is unique. Variations in timber grain, texture, and color are a natural characteristic of the material and should be expected. We also continually refine our designs to improve performance, durability, and user experience. For this reason, minor cosmetic differences between website imagery and the final product may occur.


Timber Care:

Your sauna is supplied in its natural, untreated state. To maximise longevity and weather resistance, like any outdoor timber piece, we also recommend applying a quality timber oil during installation. Guidance on suitable products and maintenance can be found in the Product Information Guide included with your sauna.

Installation takes about 3 hours with 2 people.

Requirements

To ensure safe operation, product longevity, and warranty compliance, the following requirements must be met prior to installation:
• A flat, level, and structurally sound surface must be provided capable of supporting the sauna’s assembled weight of approximately 415kg, plus occupants.
• Suitable installation surfaces include concrete slabs, paving, or structurally engineered decking capable of supporting the load.
• The installation area must be well-drained and free from ongoing water pooling or flooding.
• Adequate clearance should be maintained around the sauna to allow for ventilation, servicing, and safe operation.
• The owner is responsible for ensuring suitable site access for delivery and installation.
• A dedicated electrical circuit must be provided for the sauna heater.
• Depending on the heater selected, the sauna may require either a 230V single-phase supply or a 400V three-phase supply.
• All electrical works must be completed by a licensed electrician in accordance with Australian Standards and local regulations.
• Electrical requirements should be confirmed by the installing electrician prior to installation.
• The sauna heater must be installed and commissioned in accordance with the heater manufacturer’s instructions.
• Regular maintenance of timber components is required to preserve appearance and maximise service life.
• The sauna must be operated and maintained in accordance with the Barrel Baths User Manual and all supplied product documentation.

Failure to comply with these requirements may impact product performance, safety, and warranty coverage.
